Villa Belma is a beautiful detached villa set in a peaceful, rural setting yet only 5 minutes by car from the bustling coastal village of Kalkan. Located on the outskirts of a small, traditional Turkish village, Villa Belma offers the opportunity to really get away from it all and enjoy a flavour of rural Turkish village life. Local village life moves at a very slow pace alongside Villa Belma- whilst staying here you are likely to see the surrounding olive groves being harvested in the autumn, local shepherds and shepherdesses moving their flocks of goats down the winding road and local farmers selling their wares as they pass through the village!
The villa sits in an elevated position offering glorious views over local olive groves, rocky outcrops and down towards the village of Kalkan and the bay beyond. Next to the villa there is a small village shop, selling all of your daily essentials, with larger supermarkets being just a 5 minute drive away in Kalkan. The beautiful harbour village of Kalkan is easily accessible from Villa Belma, either by car or hopping on the local dolmus (minibus) that passes through the village. Kalkan itself has an array of top class restaurants, boutique shops, bars and beautiful beach clubs nestled into the hillsides. Villa Belma really does offer the best of both worlds!

The villa has an upside down layout with the living area located on the top floor to make the most of the spectacular views on offer. The open plan living/kitchen/dining area is very light and airy with high vaulted ceilings to help it keep cool in the summer months. The small, traditional kitchen is tucked out of sight behind a partition wall but is equipped with a large fridge freezer, gas hob, microwave and plenty of storage.
In the open plan living area, there is an inside dining table to seat four and comfy sofas and arm chairs for 6 people. There is a large flatscreen TV with satellite in the lounge area. On this floor there is also a shower room with toilet.
Leading off the main living area through French windows is a beautiful large roof terrace set up as an outdoor dining area with table and chairs to seat 6. The terrace is shaded with an elegant pergola and offers the most beautiful panoramic views out over rural farmland and the bay of Kalkan beyond. A further private balcony leading off the main living area provides a quiet corner to unwind in and enjoy the same fantastic views.
On the lower floor of the villa there are 3 spacious bedrooms- 1 master double and 2 twin bedrooms. The first twin bedroom has an en-suite shower room, wrought iron beds, wardrobes and a private balcony with sea views. The second twin bedroom also has wrought iron beds, a vanity shelf, triple wardrobe and a private balcony with sea views. Next to the twin bedrooms there is an exceptionally large family bathroom with shower unit, toilet and sink with vanity unit. There is also a laundry area with washing machine next to the family bathroom.
The master bedroom is a beautiful light and airy room with a wrought iron king sized double bed, triple wardrobe, coffee table and two chairs. There is an en-suite shower room. French windows lead off the master bedroom onto a small terrace area with steps leading down directly to the pool and gardens.The master bedroom's terrace area is shady and furnished with a double sofa seat.
All bedrooms as well as the upstairs living area are air-conditioned.
From the pool level there are lovely views over the bay and the islands in the distance. The private pool is a good size and surrounded by a large patio area with six sunbeds with lounger cushions and parasols. There is a beautiful Ottoman seating area next to the pool with a shady pergola, additional seating and a coffee table. Pretty flower beds surround the pool terrace with an abundance of vibrant flowers and planting. Near the main, gated front entrance of the villa there is a further small terraced area with a BBQ. The outside areas are well fenced, ensuring that Villa Belma is secure for small children.
